Behavioral Therapist's Digital Transformation
How I Built a User-Centered Website to Drive Engagement and Simplify Booking
Role: UX Researcher/Designer | Web Developer/Designer
Tools: Figma, WordPress, Google Suite
The Challenge
The client had no online presence, relying solely on referrals and word-of-mouth to reach new patients. Without a website, potential clients lacked a trusted way to learn about her practice or get in touch.
The Solution
I designed and developed a new WordPress website that reflected her professionalism and warmth. Through user research, clear information architecture, and thoughtful visual design, the site created a calm, supportive experience that built trust and made information easy to find.

What I Learned
This project was more than just building a website — it was about designing an emotionally supportive experience for parents seeking help for their neurodivergent children.
Collaborating with the UX/UI research team taught me how deeply user insights and empathy can shape meaningful design decisions. Every page, color, and interaction was created to make parents feel understood, comforted, and confident in reaching out to Erin for support.
The real success of this project went beyond functionality — it was about reducing uncertainty for families navigating a difficult journey. Knowing that the website could ease their stress and connect them with the help they need reaffirmed my belief that thoughtful, user-centered design has the power to make a genuine difference in people’s lives.
